Parents say . . .

I never realized how much went into teaching a child to read until COVID happened and my kids were stuck learning at home. They had online reading time with Mrs. Abolins and I got to see and hear how she broke down words into sounds and made a game out of reading so that my boys actually looked forward to their time together. She's warm, caring and efficient in helping them to improve their skills. Also, she never makes them feel like they are lesser and always keeps up the encouragement. We hired her to continue the reading tutoring over the summer so that they were at the proper level when school started again. It was money well spent and we are thankful to Meighan for all of her help and expertise!

Meighan Abolins has a wonderful rapport with children of all ages. Her ability to connect with her students and her talent at teaching simple tasks, as well as more advanced concepts, are both truly superior. She has excellent written and verbal communication skills, is extremely well organized and reliable. Meighan works well with parents and feels it imperative to include them in their child’s learning.
